The Illinois AfterSchool Network presented three leadership awards at its spring conference. Dave Robisch, the state administrator for the Teen REACH program, received the Richard Scofield Award. The Garden of Prayer Youth Center in Kankakee received the Best Practice Program Award. Carole Franke, Director of Youth Opportunities out of the Iroquois-Kankakee Regional Office of Education, received the Deb Nelson Board of Director’s Leadership Award.
