Illinois Central College is seeking a qualified individual with expertise in childhood development and the ability to teach Child Development Courses at the community college level.

Plans and implements activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices and program philosophy. Responsible for caring for the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child in the group.

Pre-K Teachers provide instruction, under the Illinois Early Childhood Block Grant, to at-risk children 3 to 5 years of age through developmentally appropriate activities using the Creative Curriculum model and the Illinois Early Learning Standards.

Case Managers implement Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers within a center-based setting. These individuals work closely with the Family Service Support Staff to develop activities and access comprehensive services for families.

Daycare Assistant for day to day running of a Family Daycare Responsible for circle time activities, potty training, snacks, lunch, forming weekly themes and others. Hours are 7:45 - 5:15 with 15 minute break and 1 hour lunch time
